Actor, Singer, Designer, Producer, & Mother

Shana Farr had a song in her heart when she moved to New York over 20 years ago, and she fell in love at HARRY WINSTON. While building her performance career, Shana climbed the ranks at the luxury jeweler learning the importance of design, detail, and craftsmanship, to ultimately become the Global Director of Merchandise. It was common for Shana to leave her Manhattan office after a day of design development, to then head to rehearsal for one of the many productions and concerts she appeared in.

Never choosing one career over the other, Shana's commitment to both has also led her to put on the "Producer" hat in both fields - producing her own line of jewelry as well as producing her own award-winning shows.

As a designer and merchandiser, her pieces have appeared not only at HARRY WINSTON, but also in Macy's, Kohl's (Simply Vera, Vera Wang), JCPenny, HSN and QVC, Zales, Ross Simons, and more. Once her own brand, Pure Imagination was launched in 2012, her product was featured in Bridal Guide Magazine and has been written up in the Huffington Post, JQ International, and more. She is also a consultant for mass manufacturers and has developed lines of jewelry that are now seen in major department stores across the U.S. In addition to Pure Imagination, she recently developed her new brand of jewelry The Baby Promise, the perfect gift for all mothers.

As a performer, Shana has now played in the great supper club rooms of New York and London and across the U.S. Her voice has soared in historical concert halls with symphony orchestras, and she has collected rave reviews for leading roles she portrayed in some of the country's the great theaters. New York highlights are: Ruth in Blithe Spirit, Marion Paroo in The Music Man, Hanna Glawari in The Merry Widow, Miss Lucy in Sweet Bird of Youth, Laurey Williams in Oklahoma!, Melissa Gardner in Love Letters, the title role of Princess Ida, Princess Margaret in The Student Prince, Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, and Elsie Maynard in The Yeomen Of The Guard at venues including New York City Center, McCarter Theater, York Theatre Company, Rhynsburger Theatre, and with the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera amongst others.

As a supper club/concert artist, she has performed at Carnegie Hall (Weill Recital Hall), Jazz at Lincoln Center (Rose Theater), Feinsteins at The Regency, Feinsteins/54 Below, Birdland Jazz Club, Amarnick-Goldstein Concert Hall, Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, and The Missouri Theatre as well as London's Crazy Coqs, The Pheasantry, and most recently The Westminster Abbey. She has received two prestigious awards celebrating her as an outstanding performer and interpreter of songs from the great American Songbook. Her debut CD Out Of the Shadows was released in 2012, and she has received a New York City Bistro Award for her solo show In the Still of the Night.

As a Mom, she is learning every day and looks to many women for inspiration as she walks (and sometimes runs!) along the road of motherhood.
