Shana Farr had a song in her heart when she moved to New York, and she fell in love at Harry Winston. While building her singing career, Shana climbed the ranks at the luxury jeweler learning the importance of design and detail, to ultimately become the Global Director of Merchandise. It was common for Shana to leave the office after a day of design development, to then head to rehearsal for one of the many productions she appeared in in New York City.
Never choosing one career over the other, Shana's commitment to both has led her to put on the "Producer" hat in both fields - producing her own line of jewelry as well as producig her own award-winning shows. Shana has now played to the great Supper Club rooms of New York and London and across the U.S., her voice has soared in historical concert halls with symphony orchestras, and she has collected rave reviews for leading roles she portrayed in some of the country's the great theatres. Now she can add "Mom" to her titles.
As a designer, her jewelry line has appeared in Bridal Guide Magazine and has been written up in the Huffington Post. She is now currently working on a new collection due to launch Spring 2015.
As a performer, she was honored with the Julie Wilson Award at the Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, her debut CD Out Of The Shadows has been released, and just recently she received a Bistro Award for her solo show "In The Still Of The Night".
As a Mom, she is learning every day and looks to many women for inspiration as she walks (and sometimes runs!) along the road of motherhood.
